Cookies

Our cookies are baked throughout the day as we think that nothing beats a warm cookie. We continue to develop new recipes so keep on eye out this holiday season for new creations.

Parisian Almond Macarons | A rarity in Alaska, if not the only place to find these light, chewy, almond meal and egg white-based sandwich cookies. You may not recognize ours though for we just couldn’t allow ourselves to use artificial food dye to create the neon colors that classic macarons have. Our fillings are naturally flavored with lemon zest, berries, hazelnut paste, and chocolate. We typically have a variety of daily flavors so visit the shop to see what we have. Pair with our unique wooden container to make a great gift.

Chocolate Chip | A classic, chewy chocolate chip cookie, totally loaded with bittersweet chocolate chips.

Chocolate Cherry Chip | The only thing that could make our chocolate chip cookie better would be the addition of cognac-soaked dried cherries.

Peanut Butter Crème | Sweet, peanut buttery ganache sandwiched between peanut butter oatmeal cookies. This is the cookie that will reward you on the top of Flat Top.

Chocolate Cookies with Chocolate Ganache | Two large chocolate shortbread-like cookies with bittersweet chocolate ganache in between.

Gingersnaps with Lemon Crème | A perfect pairing of a chewy, ginger molasses cookies with a lemon flavored cream cheese filling.

Coconut Macaroons | Simply shredded coconut, egg whites, and sugar cooked and baked to perfection. Also available dipped in chocolate.

Russian Tea Cakes | Flaky, buttery, pecan cookies double rolled in confectioners sugar. Also known as Mexican wedding cakes or snowballs.

Rugelach | A flaky cream cheese dough filled with an apricot spread, ground walnuts, cinnamon, and sugar. A Fire Island treat not to be missed.

Marshmallow Peeps | House-made marshmallow-like treats in the shape of baby chicks. Look for them Easter week (but be forewarned, they go fast).

Various Holiday Cookies | Enquire on the holidays for individually-sold and decorated cookies, or special order a cookie platter for Hanuakkah or Christmas.  Trays vary from year to year but varieties include toffee, biscotti, fruit and oat bars, jam thumbprints, sesame wafers, Russian tea cakes, brownies, butter cookies, rugelach, macaroons, chocolate sandwich cookies, and more.
