This year, Fire Island will be celebrating Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur with several delicious traditional treats including Rugelach, Babka, Macaroons & Challah shaped into either single braids or larger, round braided crowns. Please call ahead to place your special orders, as our Challah always sells very quickly & we want to make sure you have some for your holiday meal.

Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop is a small family owned artisan bakery located in the heart of one of the oldest neighborhood in Anchorage, Alaska. Our goal is to offer you a fine line of organic baked goods including crusty traditional breads, excellent sweet and savory pastries, delectable cookies, and other seasonal specialties. We also have fairly traded organic coffee from K-Bay Caffe and teas from Summit Spice.

Offering you a family bakery experience with excellent customer service and delicious food. Our ingredients are the finest and the freshest we can find. Whenever possible we use local and organic goods, as well as recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable products.
